Varshangalkku Shesham is a tale about two artistic individuals, whose dreams and destinies intertwine and bring them together. Murali (Pranav Mohanlal), a man of many talents and Venu (Dhyan Sreenivasan), an aspiring filmmaker from a small town in Kerala, brought together by fate and their shared dream of making it big in the magical world of cinema, decide to go to Madras to try their luck on the bustling streets of Kodambakkam- the hub of the South Indian film industry back then. They become inseparably close as they struggle together in the real, non-glamorous world of cinema, with fire in their bellies and a burning desire to prove themselves to the world.
