Every day, Jay travels the length and breadth of Tokyo in his taxi, looking for his daughter Lily. In the 9 years since he has separated from his wife, he has never been able to get custody of his daughter. Having given up hope of ever seeing her again, he is about to move back to France when Lily hops in his cab. But she doesn’t recognize him.
Jay rijdt dagelijks Tokio rond in zijn taxi op zoek naar zijn dochter Lily. Negen jaar nadat hij van zijn vrouw is gescheiden heeft hij nog steeds niet het voogdijschap gekregen. Meer en meer staat hij op het punt om de hoop op te geven om Lily ooit terug te zien. Het plan is om dan weer in Parijs te wonen. Tot op een dag zij in zijn taxi stapt en hem evenwel niet herkent.
Tous les jours, Jay parcourt Tokyo au volant de son taxi à la recherche de sa fille, Lily. Séparé depuis 9 ans, il n’a jamais pu obtenir sa garde. Alors qu’il a cessé d’espérer la revoir et qu’il s’apprête à rentrer en France, Lily entre dans son taxi, mais elle ne le reconnait pas…
