The Super Bowl is no longer just the highlight for American football fans. It has also become a prime opportunity for advertisers to showcase their products. And for years, that has included trailers for the biggest films of the year. That’s no coincidence, as the event attracts more than 100 million television viewers worldwide. The price tag of over 8 million dollars for a 30-second commercial spot is apparently a cost that producers are happy to pay.
