A reboot of the “Resident Evil” franchise. Set in 1998, the intention is to re-create the ‘terrifying visceral experience’ of the first two games in the series, exploring ‘the secrets hidden in the walls of the Spenser Mansion and Raccoon City’ while also ‘telling a grounded human story about a small dying American town.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City’ volgt de gebeurtenissen tijdens een nacht in 1998. Tijdens deze nacht breekt er een dodelijk virus uit die mensen verandert in zombies, en al snel raakt de stad Raccoon City overspoelt. Een groep overlevenden probeert vervolgens te achterhalen hoe het virus tot stand is gekomen.
Autrefois le siège en plein essor du géant pharmaceutique Umbrella Corporation, Raccoon City est aujourd’hui une ville à l’agonie. L’exode de la société a laissé la ville en friche… et un grand mal se prépare sous la surface.
