Sinterklaas and his cheerful team of Pieten are preparing for another unforgettable celebration. Their festive arrival in the Netherlands is supposed to mark the beginning of a magical season filled with presents, songs, laughter, and excited children. But shortly after the celebrations begin, everything is thrown into chaos when a powerful snowstorm named Jutta sweeps across the country. Within hours, the Netherlands is brought to a complete standstill. Roads become dangerously icy, rooftops are covered in thick layers of slippery snow, and travelling outdoors is almost impossible. Concerned about everyone’s safety, the mayor makes a difficult decision: Sinterklaas is forbidden from going outside until the storm has passed. This means that he and the Pieten can no longer deliver presents in the usual way. As the snow continues to fall, children throughout the country begin to worry. Will Sinterklaas still visit them? Will their shoes remain empty this year? And can the traditional celebration even continue under such dangerous conditions? Although the situation seems hopeless, Kim Kado, Chico Choco, Party Piet Pablo, and the other Pieten refuse to give up. They are determined to find a way to reach the children, no matter how fierce the storm becomes. Their search for a solution takes an unexpected turn when they discover a mysterious hot chocolate. After drinking it, the Pieten suddenly develop magical powers that allow them to fly through the air. With their spectacular new abilities, they may finally have found a safe way to travel above the frozen roads and reach the snow-covered rooftops. Just when it seems that the celebration has been saved, a new problem arises. Tante Poets suddenly disappears and heads towards the North Pole, accidentally taking the only key to the present room with her. Without that key, Sinterklaas and the Pieten cannot reach the presents they need to deliver. Time is running out, the storm is growing stronger, and thousands of children are waiting. Sinterklaas and the flying Pieten must now embark on an exciting and adventurous mission to bring Tante Poets back, recover the missing key, and deliver every present before it is too late. With courage, friendship, teamwork, and a little bit of magic, they do everything they can to overcome the winter storm and save the Sinterklaas celebration.
