We Love Cinema Days: record number of participating cinemas

We Love Cinema Days: 1+1. On the right a man and on the left a woman with popcorn, both with their hands in front of their mouths in an "oh" expression in a cinema.

From Wednesday 17 to Saturday 20 September 2025, the We Love Cinema Days return, celebrating twenty years of partnership with BNP Paribas Fortis.

For four days, film lovers can enjoy a special offer in all participating cinemas: buy 1 ticket + get 1 ticket free, valid for the same screening.

This year, 49 cinemas are taking part, fourteen more than last year. The participating venues represent 90% of Belgian box office attendance.

The We Love Cinema Days guarantee a diverse program tailored to a wide audience:

Avant-premieres and sneak previews:

including L’Étranger, the new film by François Ozon; Rembrandt starring Camille Cottin and Romain Duris; and a first look at an upcoming Flemish thriller to be released this autumn.

Meet & Greet with talent:

for instance, after the screening of the comedy Over de Grens, audiences can join a Q&A with lead actor Vincent Banić. Screenings will also be followed by debates and conferences, such as those around Un Monde Merveilleux and La Grande Ambizione.

(Re)discovering film classics and cult favorites:

including Twin Peaks and Blade Runner.

Recent box office hits back on the big screen:

such as Barbie, A Star is Born, and Mad Max: Fury Road.

Family program:

through the Disney Junior Cinema Club, specially designed for young children and their parents, with accessible screenings and side activities.

With this mix of blockbusters, new releases, classics, and children’s programming, cinemas will be transformed into a four-day celebration of the seventh art.

“For this edition, we have put together an exceptionally varied program that will appeal to both young and old, and that marks the start of the autumn cinema season in the best possible way,”
emphasizes Philippe Adam-Leenaerdt, Director Business Development at Brightfish.
